Privacy
Open Settings → Privacy. There are three separate choices:
- Profile association: whether this blog links to your OM profile. Turn it off to keep them separate.
- Reader access: whether anyone can read it or needs a password. Password protection requires Pro.
- Discovery: whether it can be featured on OnceMarked and indexed by search engines. Hiding it from discovery does not make it private.
You can also protect an individual post or page. Save a draft first, then use its reader-access controls. A protected blog's password covers its entries.
Share the password with the people you want to invite. Anyone with it can pass it on.
If Pro ends, existing protection stays in place. You can keep writing drafts, but publishing new protected content requires Pro; we don't silently make it public.
Previously public copies, discussions and search results may remain elsewhere. Images reused in public content remain public. Profile comments and personal links you add can also reveal your identity.
